The University of Virginia in 100 Objects

Featuring artifacts from the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library, other University entities, and private collections, The University of Virginia in 100 Objects commemorated UVA’s Bicentennial from August 2017 to June 2018. The one hundred artifacts included represented moments from two centuries of UVA history. Although the seventy-nine objects exhibited in the galleries of the Harrison Institute/Small Special Collections Library from are no longer on display, there remain twenty-one objects installed across sixteen satellite sites around Grounds that continue to shed light on the people, events, and traditions that shaped the University as we know it today.
